I just found out that my webhits counter, "Nedstat", is the culprit. I am dropping their service and I recommend you do the same if your site uses them. It seems they're doing reprints through the end of the year in order to promote the launch of the new book set. It's pretty cool seeing Calvin back in newspapers again, even if it's just reprints for four months!

At the BookExpo America in early June, Andrews McMeel revealed that they're planning to release a three-hardcover slipcased complete collection of "Calvin & Hobbes" in 2005. This set will be similar to the two-hardcover slipcased "Far Side" collection released in late 2003. Retail price for the C&H set is expected to be $150. Start saving your pennies! It seems Universal Press Syndicate took issue with the amount of C&H strips available there. I know that the use of those images represented a copyright violation and I don't fault UPS for taking action. I am, however, very sorry to see such an amazing website gone forever. Martijn put countless hours of hard work into the site and it showed. His site will be missed.

01 May 2003 - Added a section for my own Calvin strips in the 'C&H Multimedia' section. Only 3 strips so far. Consider yourselves lucky though, since they're really not very good.
