Nice Collection For Robotman...but...

I have...THE VOICE!

By Greg Berg, 2008

Hi,

Just caught your site and thought I'd drop a line as I think I may have tried contacting Jim Meddick first,(to thank him),but received no answer, so I am writing you as you seemed to really go all out for the project of 'ROBOTMAN'.

Yes, back in the 80's I was chosen as the voice for 'Robotman' on the ROBOTMAN AND FRIENDS video and VHS tapes.

As there may be pockets of fans of the show out there, I thought I'd write and maybe connect through you.

If you know of anyone else that may be an avid collector of Robotman info, I can pass-on 2 bits of possibly 'buried' trivia that will tickle their minds.

1. Did you know....Greg Berg(Robotman)and co-star Katie Leigh(Stellar)- were cast years later on 'Jim Henson's Muppet Babies'?! Greg played Baby Fozzie Bear and Baby Scooter, Katie played Baby Rowlf the Dog.

2. In Seattle Washington in a downtown square with carnival games and rides(I forget the name but others will know of it),as you pre-board one of the rides, you need to be a certain height to ride and the marker they use is a colorful ROBOTMAN sign holding his hand at the level you must be!

I was surprised when there myself! I looked at it and exclaimed to my friend: IT'S ME! And had to explain, as no one seemed to even know he was called ROBOTMAN..yet he is used there!

Thanks for enjoying or promoting the show and strip.

Robotman Forever,
Greg Berg
